Forest Walk Crocheted Ear Warmer
I had this awesome green yarn and it reminded me of one of my favorite activities...walking in the forest! I wanted to capture the charm and calmness of the forest in this ear warmer. The twisted stitches bordering the sides reflect the ivy climbing the trees, while the open stitch in the middle is like the path going through the woods.
My favorite time to take a walk in the forest is just after it rains, when the fresh rain small has just washed everything and there are some puddles...you know what those are for! ;)
My sister Honey is the model for this ear warmer, her favorite color is green. The fence she is standing in front of is on our driveway, which I also included another photo of, showing the trees farther down. Incidentally, the tree picture was taken just after a rain-you can still see the puddles on the ground-when I was out for a walk. :)
